Gideon is an original forest elf, he is 6″ high sculpted entirely from Cernit (polymer clay). His eyes are brown acrylic. Forest elves have only 4 fingers and no thumb on each hand.. On his head he has little wisps of brown mohair hair sprinkled here and there, on top of his head he has a long wired brown mohair braid that he can position as he likes. Colourful bird feathers, tiny dried berries and tiny dried flowers are added for decoration. He lives in the forest behind my house. Gideon likes to use forest finds for dressing. He wears a garland of small green leaves across his chest, in his right hand he carries a bouquet of assorted tiny flowers and dried evergreen ground vines. In his left hand he also has a bouquet and he holds 5 tiny crystals he dug out of a hidden mine near where he lives. These he takes to whoever buys him for good luck. His little elf shoes are covered with iridescent dust. Tied around his neck with a piece of black string, he wears a small sunflower seed, as does all of his little friends. He sits on a cushion of assorted mosses and dried grasses.
