Red Velvet Victorian Father Chirstmas
 This original creation is 18" tall. I sculpted his head with shoulder plate and hands from Cernit (polymer clay). His eyes are brown acrylic. I made his white wig from sheep wool rovings, the beard, mustache and eyebrows from Tibetan sheep wool. His body is made of stuffed cotton with a twisted wire armature. I designed and sewed his costume. He wears a red satin dress with wide sleeves puffed with an elastic at the cuffs. The dress is trimmed at the bottom and cuffs with a wine colour braiding. He wears a mathing long gold tasseled toque type hat trimmed with small greenery and little dried berries, His full trailing cape is made of wine colour crushed velvet, lined with gold colour satin, and trimmed with light black tipped mink fur with a wine colour braid at the inside edge. He stands on a round wooden base covered with green felt. In his right hand he hold a small Christmas village house I made from paper, then painted and decorated with sparkly snow similar to the ones I have on my mantle.
