Gallery of Works

This original creation is 14" tall. His head with shoulder plate is sculpted entirely of Cernit. His eyes are brown, his hair is white sheep roving, his beard, mustache and eyebrows are Tibetan Sheep wool. His body is made from a thick paper cone with a stuffed bag for his stomach. His dress is black velvet. His coat is wine coloured velvet trimmed with a wide gold metallic braiding at the front edges and around the bottom of the sleeves. Around his neck there is a black mink fur bib style cape. He wears a Russian type matching fur hat. He stand on a round wooden base covered with blue felt trimmed with narrow gold braid. In his left hand he holds a bold metallic sleigh bell, in his right hand he holds a small snow covered evergreen tree and a leather toy bag spilling with miniature toys At his feet there are a few small toys, and a small fancy little sled with a tiny little cernit doll that I sculpted. The doll is wrapped and comfy in a little fur sleigh blanket. Another tinier doll sleep in a decorated walnut shell. At Christmas time he decorated my dining room table.
