Gallery of Works

This original creation is 16" tall. I sculpted his head with shoulder plate and hands from Cernit (polymer clay). His eyes are brown acrylic. I made his white wig from sheep wool rovings, the beard, mustache and eyebrows from Tibetan sheep wool. His body is made of stuffed cotton with a twisted wire armature. I designed and sewed his costume. He has a white satin dress with a wine coloured overcoat with rounded corners at the front. The coat is trimmed with black tipped white mink recycled from an old fur coat with a white braiding running down on either side of the fur trim. His Russian type hat matches the trim on the coat. He wears brown suede hand made boots. He is wired to a round wooden stand covered with green felt and trimmed with white braiding. An assortment of miniature toys sit at his feet among the green mosses. In his hands he holds a green fir garland covered with handmade tiny silk roses, dried baby's breath, tiny dried rosebuds, a few small silver or gold metal balls. The whole thing is wrapped around with a string of small gold beads. He is a very serene creation that can grace any table or shelf.
