Gallery of Works

This original creation is 16" tall. I sculpted his head with shoulder plate and hands from Cernit (polymer clay). His eyes are brown acrylic. I made his white wig from sheep wool rovings, the beard, mustache and eyebrows from Tibetan sheep wool. His body is made of stuffed cotton with a twisted wire armature. I designed and sewed his costume. He wears a cream silk dress trimmed at the bottom and edges of the sleeves with a narrow lace with ribbon running through it. His hooded coat is made of grayish rose crushed velvet trimmed with light brown mink fur with a cream braid at the inside edge. He stands on a round wooden base covered with light brown felt. At his feet are, a small carousel horse, teddy and a few wooden toys, and small evergreen sprays decorate with red silk ribbons. He hold a garland of evergreens decorated with hand made paper poinsettias, small golden balls, dried baby's breath and tiny dried flowers. A sprig of small pearls winds around the garland. He is a wizen little creations with his wrinkled face and shinny eyes.
