This original creation is 36" tall. His head with shoulder plate is sculpted from Cernit(polymer clay). His eyes are blue acrylic. I made his white wig from sheep rovings, his beard, mustache and eyebrows were made from Tibetan sheep wool.I like his little round peaceful face.His body is made of stuffed cotton with a heavy wire armature. He stands on his own. His arms are movable at the shoulders and elbows so they may be positioned. I designed and sewed his clothes. He wears white satin dress with long wide sleeves, the dress shirred a the collar and decorated with white satin braiding at the hem and sleeve cuffs. His coat is made from red Wool lined with white synthetic silk and trimmed all around and at the hem with black braiding.The separate black Persian lamb hood has a cape attached all lined with synthetic black silk. The closure is an Antique large jet button. He wears black leather mittens. In his right hand he holds a large sprig of evergreens decorated with an assortment of toys and Christmas ornaments. In his left hand he holds a small snow covered evergreen. A friend of mine enjoys having him in her living room at Christmas time.
