This original creation is 40" tall. His head with shoulder plate is sculpted from Cernit (polymer clay). His eyes are dark blue acrylic. I made his white wig from sheep rovings, his beard, mustache and eyebrows are made from Tibetan sheep wool..His body is made of stuffed cotton with a heavy wire armature. He stands on his own. His arms are movable at the shoulders and elbows so they may be positioned. I designed and sewed his clothes. He wears gold satin dress with long wide sleeves, the dress shirred a the collar and decorated with metallic gold braiding at the hem and sleeve cuffs. His hooded coat is made of dark wine coloured crushed velvet with multicoloured designs embossed in the material, the lining is gold satin. The coat is trimmed with brown mink, recycled from an old fur coat. There is a wine colour braid trim on the inner edge of the fur trim. The front closure is made from two gold metallic buttons attached by a gold metallic chain. He wears brown leather mittens. My friend who owns him has him hold different antique toys and dolls whe he is desplays standing next to her Christmas tree.
