Soleil
Soleil is a sunflower elf. He measures aprox. 14". His body is wired stuffed midnight blue crushed synthetic velvet. His legs are wrapped with 1/4" yellow ribbon as are his arms. I have yet to sculpt his hands but his face is sculpted from Cernit, his bright blue eyes are
hand made and hand painted , his wide smile with its pearly teeth brithten his impish face.
He is dressed from silk sunflower petals with a matching little sunflower hat. I have yet to finish his skirt, make his rather large wings and add some embelishment at the neck, waist and who knows where else, I just have to let the process evolve. I am not quite sure
yet if he will float on air held by a string or sit on something. I find those things out as my work progresses.
